This course has been specially designed for au pairs who are working and living with British families in the Bath area.  It will help you to settle in to your English family and give you confidence in your work, whether answering the telephone or doing the shopping.

Expert tuition

You’ll study General English, improving your skills in conversation, listening, writing, reading and grammar, and work interactively with plenty of opportunity to practise the skills you are learning. This course also covers topics and vocabulary that you’ll find helpful in your work as an au pair, helping you to gain confidence and fluency as quickly as possible.

Friendly support

The course does far more than simply help you with your English. We’ll also address cultural issues and the unique experience of living as an au pair in a British family. You’ll study in a small group where you’ll have the chance to make new friends and practise your new-found skills.  You’ll have the opportunity to attend weekend workshops and we’ll also arrange optional social activities and excursions.

Before you begin, we’ll run a needs analysis with you to establish your current level and place you in the right group. Be assured: whatever your level of English now, a course at Languages United will take you further than you imagined!
