Our Winter School combines a two-week General English course with the chance to experience a typical English Christmas with a host family. The course content is general and covers a mixture of grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading and writing, with an emphasis on practical communication and speaking skills. Special topics are also taught to allow students to make the most of their time in England over Christmas, such as shopping vocabulary and British customs.
Students can also take part in Christmas Social Programme activities such as a visit to a carol concert in a church, a trip to see a traditional pantomime (Christmas show) at the theatre. The cost of these activities is not included in the price - students just pay for the activities they'd like to do. Early booking for this course is highly recommended.
