Families with or without children, as well as responsible single adults
can become host families. All that is required of our hosting families
is that they can provide a warm and loving environment for our students
and are interested in encouraging the student to become an active
member of their family.
The experience for both the familiy and students can be enriching
and memorable. Both students and families are selected with great care and students are expected
to abide by the customs and reasonable expectations of their host family.
As a Host Family you:
- Welcome a student into your home as a family member
- Provide an individual bed and meals
- Maintain contact with the school Accommodation and Welfare Coordinator
- Assist students in settling in and arranging transport to and from school
- Attend host family induction, student welcome meetings and farewell parties
