Week 2 of 6 : this week, we learn about the Present Perfect tense!
Hello and welcome to languages United grammar point of the week. This week,we're going to be looking at the present perfect.
The present perfect is you subscribe past experiences that are true or relevant or important now in the present for example:
I've been to London twice
We can see that the present perfect is made from an auxiliary verb have and the past participle. Here, it'sbeen the past participle of to be so if we look at the timeline we can see that the present perfect describes actions that start in the past and are still true now or relevant and important. So to recap the present perfect is a tense we use to describe actions that start in the past and are still relevant true or important now in the present. They're made from the auxiliary verb have and the past participle.
